First published: February 9, 2021

Peptides have often been thought of as too unstable to be viable drug candidates, however, different cyclizations (including disulfide bonds, lactam bridges, stapled peptides, thioesters, and click-chemistry catalyzed cyclizations) can be used to improve peptide stability in the development of therapeutic macrocyclic peptides. We are pleased to announce a new publication in the latest digital issue of Specialty Chemicals Magazine, “Cyclic peptides – A plethora of constraints to use“, a discussion on recent therapeutic developments in cyclic constraints for making therapeutic peptides.
