中文July 10, 2019 – AmbioPharm is currently expanding its capacity both in North Augusta SC as well as in Shanghai. The North Augusta expansion will add more than 55,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing/purification space as well as additional QC and Microbiology labs. The North Augusta Expansion is slated to complete construction in October 2019 and qualification later in the 4th quarter of 2019. The Shanghai facility is an entirely new campus dedicated to commercial peptide manufacturing. Four buildings are currently under construction and will add more than 35,000 sq. meters to our facilities. The Administration-R&D building construction is planned to will finish by the end of 2019. Production buildings 2 and 3 should be completed by mid-2020. Included in the new Shanghai facility is a waste recycling and recovery unit to improve our green footprint allowing us to recover both MTBE and DMF from synthesis and MeCN from purification.
