We are delighted to open our new large-scale commercial production building and QC and warehouse building at our North Augusta headquarters. This expansion adds nearly 60,000 sq. ft of space to our current footprint in the USA. These buildings will house our large scale commercial purification lines equipped with additional 45 cm, 60 cm and 100 cm columns and additional 600 L, 800 L and 1000 L lyophilizers nearly tripling our capacity. The QC and Warehouse building will allow for increasing our capacity in releasing product as well as additional storage capacity for finished goods. The R&D group will also expand our role by occupying the vacated QC labs in our existing building 200.
The new China campus is also slated to open in the 2nd and 3rd Quarter in 2020. Minor delays pushed this completion back slightly due to the Covid-19 pandemic crisis currently affecting most of the world.
